			<description><![CDATA[ One of the exercises I've had students do was light a candle and stare at it and freewrite for 10 minutes....your homework is to do just that and post what you come up with! It will be understood that this is very rough writing. Maybe we can come up with some story starters like this!<br><br>Also if anyone has any ideas for a writing challenge, please post it.<br><br> ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ For those of you who have missed the news, EzBoard was struck by a hacker. They destroyed posts, membership numbers, and community chests.<br><br>We here at J&amp;C lost around 200 members (although we have gained some back) and 1 ½ years worth of posts. There is a possibility that we will get some, all or none of our posts back. The hacker also destroyed back-ups. Some boards are lucky and back-ups still exist while others aren't so lucky.
